September 2022- Prime Care agency, together with Private Nursing Services and other eleven outsourcing agencies conducted its monthly educational activity entitled, “Breaking Barriers, Celebrating Differences: Doffing the Stigma of Cerebral Palsy.” The events were in line with the celebration of World Cerebral Palsy Day on 7 October 2022.  



The month-long celebration was spearheaded by Prime Care, which conducted three (3) major activities:
  1. Campaign Poster Making Contest - the event was held on 18 September 2022.
    The event was graced by HMC PNS officials (Ms. Asmahan Abdo, DON of PNS) together with a set of experts coming from different fields to judge the entries submitted by the participants. The following are the winner entries.
    Qatar Care, Quality Home Medical Center & Doha Care agencies 

  2. “The CP Chronicles-The Untold Memoir of Nurses”: A Case Study Virtual Presentation, the event was held on 22 September 2022, live via Zoom wherein there were five (5) finalists who went through the screening of the board of judges including Ms. Asmahan Abdo, DON of PNS. The following were declared winners from agencies; Prime Care, Qatar Care & Quality Home Medical Center

  3. “Doffing the Stigma of Cerebral Palsy: Nursing Care Strategies on How to Promote Quality Life.” This seminar was the culminating and final event, held on 29 September 2022. 


The activity was graced by four highly qualified speakers who are experts in their own fields. During the final event, the speakers presented and discussed a variety of cerebral palsy concepts. The participants showed great interest and were fiercely competitive during the culminating event. 



The event was made possible with the efforts of the Prime Care SPC team headed by Mr. Abdulkarim O. Agga MAN, Peach Dale Esloyo, MAN, and all the other educators of the different outsourcing agencies and their managers and owners.

The PNS scientific committee, headed by Ms. Marwa Mohamed and Ms. Jessica Waghmare Nelsh, together with all the 11 outsourcing agency educators, are committed to ongoing efforts to realize the collective vision, passion, and commitment to offering sustainable, high-quality medical and nursing home care through similar activities in the future.
